The video was directed by the director of the film, Punit Malhotra.[8] The costumes and choreography were done by Manish Malhotra and Remo D'Souza, respectively. It features Kareena Kapoor wearing the most elaborate of her six costumes for the film.[9][10]
The single was released on digital music platform ITunes on 12 October 2013,[6] followed by a radio-release on 16 October 2013.[8] It is the second item number featuring Kareena Kapoor; the first being "Fevicol Se" from the 2012 film Dabangg 2.[8]
The lyrics have also been criticised for their lack of poetry, which was the mainstay of songs in Bollywood classics like Pyaasa and Sujata.[19][20] Lyricist Kausar Munir blames the attention span of the listeners and the commercial aspect of the films for the rude and offensive lyrics of modern songs; including those of "Tooh".[18][19][20]
Despite criticism, the song received audiences appreciation; secured high positions in music charts.[22][23][24] It reached second position in The Times of India Radio Mirchi Top 20 chart[a][25] and ninth position[26] in the BBC Asian Network chart, with a run of 11 weeks in the former and eight weeks in the latter.[27]
From 1995 to 1998 they released demos that revealed fantastic musicianship with its raw production which showcased the base of the path this band would take. It was not until the year 2000 that we received their first album From Higher Will, which showed strong song structures with the style of death/grind and bits and pieces of progressive inclinations. It surely is among my favorite debut albums by a band and has a special place in my heart (along with all their albums).
Their second offering, Pod Vladou Bice, continued from their previous effort but the progressive bits were more evident. They continued to sing in their native tongue and the themes were consistent too. The vocals were capable of transmitting emotions of evil and depravity right along with the music.
After this release the band got some recognition in the underground and signed with Earache Records to release their 2005 album Order and Punishment, in which they used English instead of their native tongue. This album is great, not like their debut but a great addition to their catalogue. Due to reasons I am not 100% sure of, the band then just disappeared. That was a shame but it happens more than I would like in underground projects.
But hope is the last thing one loses and the band in 2012 released an EP digitally entitled Z teraira Do Kolumbaria that consisted of three songs which showed a different approach in the vocal department, but still delivered punishing music with their key signature style. A year later they released their album Democratic Solution. I thought it would continue the approach of the preceding EP, but instead took a different tack with a cleaner production and the incorporation of keyboards. To be honest, that album was a hit-and-miss for me; some songs were OK and others I did not like. Nevertheless, I admired how they were not afraid to try new things in their music.
The more I listen, the more I enjoy the album. I hope this band will continue to release music in the future, and in collaboration with Lavadome Productions. Give it a listen and you may like it as much as I do:
seriously these guys need to go get a life. I earnestly wish this song dies off soon and no one remembers it at all. Just think, someone singing "O mehfil taan sajdi te hilte-dulte toonh
Gore gore naughty-naughty round-round toonh".... it sounds gross and disgusting
Well, the beats are good and all and it is a pretty peppy number... but only for those... who don't know the meaning of the lyrics which happen to be downright bullshit. It is simply crazy that a song is based on someone's ass! :0
A new song from Kareena Kapoor's upcoming rom-com Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has the star grooving naughtily on the dance floor.
The song is called Tooh (a Punjabi term for buttocks) and the lyrics of the song goes: " Gore gore, naughty naughty, round round tooh". The Vishal- Shekhar tune seems to particularly emphasise on the word 'tooh' as Kareena goes about vigorously gyrating her derriere.
"It's time shake that Tooh... that is our new Punjabi coinage for the Posterior (sic)!" the film's producer Karan Johar posted on a website.
Remo D'Souza has choreographed the number penned by Anvita Dutt while Mamta Sharma along with Mika, Vishal and Shekhar has sung it.
This is Kareena's second dance number after her marriage. Her previous raunchy item number Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2 last year was a superhit.
Incidentally, Tooh will be released on air close to Kareena's first wedding anniversary next week on October 16. The song features Bebo shaking her booty desi style in a bright blue and red lehenga.
In Gori Tere Pyar Mein , Kareena has once gain been cast opposite Imran Khan after the Karan Johar- produced Ek Main Aur Ek Tu . The film which was released early last year had failed to set the box-office on fire.
The first trailer of the film was released a month ago but the response has been rather low.
With the launch of the song the makers have also started an online promotional campaign letting fans sketch a ' tooh' on the site.
While Tooh kick- starts the publicity campaign for the film, the makers will soon release another item number filmed on Esha Gupta.
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein also stars Aashiqui 2 heroine Shraddha Kapoor and is slated to release on November 22.
Actress is seen gyrating her derriere in the raunchy number from her upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.

After Dave asks Bret and Jemaine to give him more space on the dance floor, the band sings this dance track about a nightclub populated by too many men. In the scene prior to the video, the nightclub appears to have women inside, however, during the song it is strictly males appearing. Jemaine cites many males in attendance, in addition to three who are on leave from the army. During the video, the bouncer that was present outside at the beginning of the episode, is leading the conga line. At the end of the video, Jemaine can be seen seducing and then dancing with Keitha.
Going to the party /Sipping on Bacardi /Want to meet a hottie /But there's Adam, Steve and Marty /There's Billy, Tod and Tommy /They're on leave from the army /The only boobs I see tonight will be made of origami
Tell the fellas, make it understood /It ain't no good, if there's too much wood /Make sure you know, before you go /The dance floor, bro:hoe ratio /Five to One is a brodeo /Tell Steve and Mark it's time to go /Wait outside all night to find /Twenty dudes in a conga line
