Dear Fellow Indians:
Few weeks ago, I brought a simple idea before you and asked you to please share your thoughts with me. Unfortunately, majority of
you preferred to keep quiet on the subject which I am going to outline once again. May I request you to please read the mail in it's
entirety?
Our beloved country India and its sovereignty is in more danger today than it was ever before. There is simple analogy between a leak
in the roof of the house and if the house is infected by termites. The rain water leaking inside the house can be plugged because it is a
visible aspect of house problem. However, if the house infected with termites, not visible easily, do not get occupants attention. Most
people do not give so much attention and procrastinate the repair, resulting erosion in the foundation of the house itself. The corruption
in India, especially with Sonia-Manmohan-Rahul regime, is just like termites eating the foundation of the house of Bharat-Mata.
How can we fix the problem? After hearing others view, I have also dared to propose one of my own. I am interested in receiving your
critical views and please do not hesitate in letting me know. Following outlines of my ideas do need your feedback:
* A national movement in recruiting Willing, Capable and Honest individual from a group of Retired Military Personnel, requesting
them to run for MP from their respective constituency as an independent candidate.
* The voters of each constituency will make a conscientious decision in this process and just one candidate will face the incumbent
as well as candidates of other parties. My best guess is that Indian voters are tired of corruption among politicians of each & every
party. They will rather give their vote to a patriot coming from military services than a civilians to bring change in central government.
* Needless to mention that this national movement will come in force by the people and for the people who are committed to uproot
corruption from top (Delhi) to bottom (villages of India). I do feel that such election process where "aam-aadmi" take part for real
change in the politics of India, may not even need a huge money (in corrores) and right candidate will win to reach Delhi as an
independent MP. Once they will reach Delhi after duly elected, the people behind the movement will give the needed identity of their
party name to the President of India and claim to form the government.
* I do not have to lay down every steps of the way to parliament because in this process the countrymen will empower enough to capture
the imagination of how to eliminate the termites from the house of Bharat-Mata, implement the laws of the land in full force and
restore the very sovereignty in danger for the India. In my thinking we must make Bharat (India) a Hindu Rashtra which should not be
confused with Hindu state, please.
I do request you to please take few moments in sharing your thoughts and encourage others to participate in the national interest.
Respectfully,
Dr. Kumar Arun

After getting freedom, a meeting was organized to select the first General of Indian Army. Jawahar Lal Nehru was heading that meeting. Leaders and Army officers were discussing to whom this responsibility should be given.
In between the discussion Nehru said, "I think we should appoint a British officer as a General of Indian Army as we don't have enough experience to lead the same.
"Everybody supported Nehru because if the PM was suggesting something, how can they not agree?
But one of the army officers abruptly said, "I have a point, sir."
Nehru said, "Yes, gentleman. You are free to speak."
He said ,"You see, sir, we don't have enough experience to lead a nation too, so shouldn't we appoint a British person as first PM of India?"
The meeting hall suddenly went quiet and tense.
Then, Nehru said, "Are you ready to be the first General of Indian Army ?"
He got a golden chance to accept the offer but he refused the same and said, "Sir, we have a very
talented army officer, my senior,
Lt. Gen.Cariappa, who is the most deserving among us."
The army officer who raised his voice against the PM was Lt. General Nathu Singh Rathore, the 1st Lt. General of the Indian Army.
That is the professionalism and character the military is made of !
