(April 12, Oslo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sri Lanka Guardian reported on April 4th under the title ‘Nasty man appointed to do malevolent work for the Sri Lanka government against Diaspora Tamils’ www.srilankaguardian.org/2011_04_04_archive.html - has received further confirmation that the former self promoting LTTE activist Nadarajah Sethurupan well known as Dirty Sethu has joined hands with the Intelligence establishment of Sri Lanka to destabilise and destroy the Sri Lankans in the Diaspora.

Nadarajah Sethurupan earned his pet name Dirty Sethu for his seemingly ruthless campaign to destroy his opponents for his unprincipled and opportunist cause. One time, his opponents were those who were critical of the Tamil Tigers. His degrading campaign went to the extent of photo-fitting the opponent’s heads on to crude porn pictures downloaded from sex websites and fearlessly displaying them in his websites.

According to information and web search, Dirty Sethurupan has visited Sri Lanka to strike a deal with the government and is said to be linked up with the Diaspora group of former LTTE’s arm’s procuring Selvarasa Pathmanathan alias KP and the Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in London M Amsa.

Dirty Sethu’s engagement is said to be part of the effort to help the multimillion pounds image building consultant Bell Pottinger, who has complained of difficulties faced in their work due to the activities of the Tamils.

The Oslo based Dirty Sethu has formed his own websites Tamilnewsweb and few other nasty ones and has somersaulted from his earlier position to haul over the coals against the very same persons sympathising with him prior to the defeat of the LTTE.

Funds have been provided by the Sri Lanka intelligence service to undertake work to destabilize all those criticising or campaigning against the Sri Lanka government.

Following establishing his cosy relationship with the Sri Lanka Intelligence Service, Dirty Sethu has updated his web profile to include his consultancy work with diplomatic mission (no.linkedin.com/in/sethurupan – Norway). Though he did not specifically mention the name of the diplomatic mission, inquiries found his association with the Sri Lankan missions in Oslo and London. Stating about his experience in his CV, he also states that he is an embassy staff in Oslo area.

Nadarajah Sethurupan was convicted on 31 May 2007 in the Harrow Magistrate Court for violence at the Tamil Broadcasting Corporation. He was committed to prison for 28 days suspended for 12 months. Our enquiries with the victims of the violence confirm that Sethurupan has not discharged the court fine and has not visited the United Kingdom since in fear of being arrested at the airport.

Dirty Sethurupan’s activities against the Tamil Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) is said to be continuing. Previously, he was targeting the TBC radio for criticising the LTTE. The present TBC’s political discussion programmes are critical of the Sri Lanka government. Issues involving political resolution to the conflict, good governance, human rights violations, war crimes and many other issues are discussed at phoning programmes. According to TBC sources, there is circumstantial evidence that the Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka mission in London M Amsa is involved in the campaign with Dirty Sethu.

In the latest campaign against TBC radio, Nadarajah Sethurupan has formed five private limited companies: Thamil Broadcasting Corporation-London Ltd, Tamil Broadcasting Corporation-London Ltd, Thamil Broadcasting Corporation Ltd, London Tamil Broadcasting Corporation Ltd and London Thamil Broadcasting Corporation Ltd on 24th March 2011. Following the formations, he has complained to the Companies House that Tamil Broadcasting Corporation is abusing his company names and to take necessary actions to end this. The Company House has rejected the claim by Sethurupan stating that there is no abuse taking place and has closed the complaint without inviting further explanation from him. The companies are formed through an agent and the cost of formation are said to be paid by the Sri Lanka Intelligence Service via the Sri Lanka High Commission in London.

Sethurupan has also complained to the radio regulator Ofcom about the TBC radio.

In his Sri Lanka government funded Tamilnewsweb, Dirty Sethurupan has castigated the pro-LTTE activist in the Tamil Diaspora. He has framed the London based former LTTE fundraiser as a traitor. Thanam is said to be manhandled and hospitalised with serious injuries by the violent KP group operating in London.

Dirty Sethu’s websites also campaigns against those who are in favour of Indian engagement to resolve the political stalemate in Sri Lanka.

According to Company House information, Nadarajah Sethurupan’s residential address is 23D Grandsdalen, Oslo, Norway 1054. Unemployed Dirty Sethu is married with a young child and said to be operating his clandestine activities from this residence.
