Memories of Desiree...

I have a distinct memory of Desiree. She was the star of a loop
featuring two guys. My cousin, his friend and I all went to the Globe
art theater on Grand River in Detroit in the early 1970's and she was
in one of the films. I just recalled how beautiful she was. I don't
remember the name of the clip, and I don't recall seeing it since. I
believe it must have been from a loop in retrospect. I've not been on
the lookout for it, but if I saw it again I probably would remember
it.

I did not correlate her pix in Players magazine to her porno career
till later. I was a fan of her still work ealy on, and the big fro
shot gracing the group was one of the all time classics. Her later
shots with her hair straightened out was also a memorable shot.

I recall seeing her in a vhs tape a few years later, with she and John
Holmes on the cover. The actual clip is a classic, and he really
seemed to be having a good time. I recall many of his flicks where he
was only partially hard, but in this one he was hard throughout. Even
he nutted twice, both on the BJ and later the HC action. I've seen it
on the net since, and the quality has always been weak, but still a
great scene.

Jim Holiday, in his epic series on sex stars, showed her in scenes
with Paul Thomas in Babyface. She looked great, but the scene was
weak.

I recall seeing her in some HC still mags later. She was with some
brother that I saw in more than one scene, so I gotta believe he was
close to her (a la Kascha and Francois, or Jeanette Littledove and
Buck Adams). I'll try to point out a few pix when I post them of the
guy. Mosly a lame-o guy, but he was in good shape. Did not know how to
do Desiree right, though.

I heard that she got a lifetime achievement award from the adult film
industry several years ago. I read this in a newsgroup, but no one had
a pic from the event. I wish I knew what she looks like today.

I think it's quite likely that she didn't turn up for that XRCO award and possibly didn't even know anything about it. Desiree Cousteau, for example, is known to have never attended any porn "reunions" of any kind since she quit porn, but it hasn't stopped her being honoured with awards.
