2017 Annual Day Graduation Rules and Guidelines

Dear Parents,

We will be celebrating the 7th year Anniversary day of Vedanta Vidya Peetam on 14th of January 2017 at Krishna Vrindavan Temple.  During the function we would want to award certificates, medals and trophies to some of our graduating students. Please read on to know how if your child will qualify for the graduation:

1.  Students who know all  the following 10 shlokhas will receive a Certificate.

   

1. Shuklambharadharam

2. Guru Brahma

3. Saraswati 

4. Gnanananda

5. Sri raama

6. Brahma murari

7. Vakra thunda

8. Mooshika vaahana

9. Gajaananam bhootha

10. Sarva mangala

2.  Students who know all the following 21 shlokhas will receive a Certificate and a Medal.

1. Shuklaambharadharam

2. Vakrathunda

3. Mooshika

4. Gajaananam

5. Guru brahma

6. Saraswati

7. Gnaananda

8. Namastestu

9. Sarva mangala

10. Sri raama

11. Vasudeva

12. Raamaaya

13. Ramaskandam

14. Annapoorna

15. Brahma murari

16. Gangecha

17. Asathoma

18. Anjanaa nandanam

19. Anjaneya Mathi 

20. Yatra yatra

21. Manojavam

3. Students who know the 108 verses of Vishnusahasranamam will receive a Certificate and a Medal.  Qualifying students who can recite by memory will receive an Award/Trophy.

Please DO NOT put pressure on the children to qualify for a certificate or medal or trophy.  They might lose interest in the whole Shlokha learning itself. So let us be gentle and let them do 

what they can.

All students will be evaluated on Friday, the January 6th, 2017 during the regular Shlokh class hours.  Again, no pressure on the children.  If they don't qualify, they will do even more better in the next occasion.

We are planning to have such evaluations every 2-3 months to give them certificates. So no worries.
