Justin & Marcus & anyone else who is interested:

I want to see if we can build on Justin's county map project. Check out http://designwritestudio.com/ElectionResultsProcessor. It imagines scraping and processing election results posted at https://nyenr.elections.ny.gov/ by county into tiddlers for a kind of instant analysis. And it could be easily tied to Justin's county maps.

So in your spare time :) create a tiddlyspot for that project. Once we have designwritestudio.com running in Xememex, you can maintain it; for now, respond to this thread with a link to the tiddlyspot that will house this project, and keep notes in there about what you've done.. :)

We can talk if you'd like, and do a zoom session if want to..

That new link works.

The difficulty I'm seeing is that the data is for either a full congressional district or for PART of a county. Also, counties can be split and contain multiple districts. It may make sense to use a district map rather than a county map. Something like this:

Downstate is a little cluttered, so it may be helpful to have them separated:

Interesting issue with county. We could use a district map. Or overlay district maps onto county map such that we’d have a different map for each of the three districts. With only those counties included in the district active.
