Julie Ogletree from Sappi will be returning to present "Environment
and Sustainability".
A discussion on the significance and differences between such terms as
FSC, SFI, PEFC, PCW, ISO, Green-e and wind power. Includes information
on how they apply to and are being implemented into current
sustainability and environmental efforts in graphic arts
manufacturing. The presentation also includes insights into the
importance of chain-of-custody, the new “triple” bottom line, and the
reality of the post-consumer waste pyramid as they relate to paper
manufacturing and the printing industry. The third part of this
discussion focuses on what end-users, designers, content creators, and
printers can do to drive change and be more “green”.
