Vermont Design Professionals,

In order to best promote design and make use of the time and resources
available to all of us, some changes are occurring with how the group
interacts:

Meetings will now be held for specific events and speakers instead of
on a regular monthly basis.

Effective immediately, the group will no longer maintain a web
presence. This is due to continued cost that had been covered only at
personal expense, combined with very limited resources and information
made available on the site. The group will continue to utilize Google
Groups as a hub for the distribution of information. The group page is
located here: http://groups.google.com/group/designvermont

The growing AIGA chapter in our area is providing increasing
opportunity to be involved in the design community. VDP members are
encouraged to join and become active with AIGA. VDP and AIGA are
discussing how to best serve the needs of the design community in our
area.

Our next meeting will be held at 6:30 on Tuesday, May 27, at Jordan

Julie Ogletree from Sappi will be returning to present a seminar
presentation around the topic of sustainablility.
