Error 01:12 in Designjet 510

Hi,

Could you help me with this error?

I replaced the ISS in my plotter 510.

The plotter asked me what part was replacing and by mistake said "Main" instead of "ISS".

From then on, started getting 01:12.

Went to Service Utilities and changed the S/N to what is shown in plotter cover.

Turned off then on and still 01:12.

Plotter shows the correct S/N but an invalid model code.

Contrary to what service manual says, in the EEROM setup does not allow to change the model.

The FW is A.02.04

When you ' by mistake said "Main" instead of "ISS"', you scrambled the configuration. 

Do you still have the old ISS?

I would reinstall it to reset the eerom on the electronics module (emod).

When you install it, tell the printer you replaced the emod.

This will write the original config from the original ISS to the emod.

Afterwards, install the replacement ISS.

Select replace ISS when instructed on screen.

Should write the config to the EEROM and boot up normally.

If that fails, you need a new emod. I have them available at my website here:

Regarding:

Contrary to what service manual says, in the EEROM setup does not allow to change the model.

Service manual was written BEFORE the printer hit the market place. Should have been edited out a long time ago.

The FW is A.02.04

Outdated. Should upgrade to A.04.02

Tom,

Somebody loaned me a functioning DJ510 and installed my ISS. When asked what part was replacing, said ISS. That copied the configuration to my ISS.

Then installed the ISS in the non working DJ510, said was replacing the Main. That copied the ISS configuration to the main EEROM configuration. Turned off and on and worked !

I have electric module of 510 42inch Nd I want to replace it with 800 module can it work for each other
