Z5400 error 07.1:11 Please Help!!!

Hi, my z5400 is hanging up, cutting out and giving me an 07.1:11 error code asking for a restart.  I removed the cartridges (can't get to the printheads), paper, changed the power cable and receptacle.

Any ideas??

Hi, it is a 07.1.11 error, not a 08.  

Here it is according to the Service Manual:

DelSol3 ASIC not found or not responding.

-check the condition and connections of the Interconnect data and power cable, replace if necessary

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your reply!  I have 3 questions:

1.  do you charge for phone support?  If so, how much?

2.  If I perform some of the troubleshooting operations on the printer, as shown in the steps on the 08:11 error, can I leave the printer "open" while trying to reboot, or should I close it up before turning back on?

3.  You stated that "If the LED is 'on' PCA board is good.

 07.1:11 error indicates the cable is disconnected. If you get this, it confirms

the cable is good."  

---->so does this mean that PCA board needs to be replace?

Please note: 

A.  I have a Flashing/On/On signal

B.  I often have a situation where there is a high pitch (barely audible, but very annoying), intermittent whine that comes from the machine, and I cannot leave it on/standby all the time

C.  I have repeatedly had a hang up at 94%, where I was previously (no longer working now) required to remove everything before it turning it on, then reinitialized.  Even after replacing the printheads.

AND THIS JUST IN:  I gave it another try, it is working?!?!

I would be grateful for any/all advice.
