How can I restore the OS on the HDD mounted on the formatter board to its default neutral settings?
I have T610 and T1100 plotters, each of which is malfunctioning in a different way. I replaced the defective parts in the T610 with functional ones from the T1100, so the T610 is now working. The only problem is that after installing the formatter board from the T1100, data from the original T610 was written to its HDD, and the device reports itself as a T610 (with its serial number, 128MB of memory instead of the 256MB installed on the formatter board, etc.) and not as a T1100 - even the functionality is only from the T610. I also did an EEPROM Reset from the Diagnostic Menu and re-burned the device firmware, but it didn't help.
Is there a way to reset the firmware on the HDD so that after restarting the device, it starts to initialize as if it had been replaced with a new formatter board with HDD?
