HP DesignJet T790 Stuck at 1% Initializing

Hi All,

I have a T790 that is used routinely at work. We allowed another department to borrow our formatter & hard drive in their attempts to resolve a network issue with their T790. Now that the equipment has been reinstalled in our printer, it will not initialize past 1%.

I believe this means that something was damaged on the formatter board or the hard drive itself. 

Any recommendations on further troubleshooting, or would it be wise to just replace those two components and take it from there?

Hi. I think you can't just change the hard drive from one plotter to another. You can change the formatter, but the hard drive must be original to the plotter, or buy a new one from HP.
