Hey Everyone,
I have a question to pose to all designers out there who have ever had a disastrous job interview....
What are your stories?
I have to give a 25 minute speech to graphic and interior design students in Boston about how to get a job...Which is rather
daunting given our economic environment.. and how hopeless some students may seem.
My plan is to tell horror stories... some of which turned out awesome. And others that did not. Many of them will be my own
personal stories, but I'd like to hear others.
Were you ever insanely late? Got lost on the way there?
Had everything planned out and realized you spelled something wrong on your portfolio?
How did everything turn out?
What about interviewing other people for a job where you work now?
What errors have possible job candidates made?
Your name will not be included with the story..only the profession you were going for and possibly where you were interviewing
if you are comfortable with it.
My speech is on Tuesday Nov 17 so I will be planning it this weekend.
Feel free to give me a call
(716.553.2839) or write me an email back whenever you have time this weekend.
Thanks ahead of time for your help!
.Lauren
