Chrome update

Hi all,

It appears that Chrome had an update over the last few days.  Unfortunately because of this all of my OnFormReports have a horizontal scrollbar.  I have been told that DB AUS has a fix for this.

I will let you know if the fix I get works.

This problem is caused by changes in Chrome's handling of some html dimensional attributes. 

 

DesignBais IE-only mode (commercial grade) has not been affected.

 

A DesignBais patch is available at :

http://www.designbais.com/downloads/chromepatch/ajxw3c.zip

 

Unzip ajxw3c.txt to your web server

Rename ajxw3c.js

 

Make a back up copy of your existing ajxw3c.js file and overwite it with the downloaded file.

 

Please CTRL+F5 to refresh and test your application (web site) thoroughly:

1.  In all browsers: IE , Chrome, Firefox and Safari

2.  Test your OFRs and Grids

 

This patch is intended for V6.99 but it can be applied to earlier versions as well.

 

Please revert your changes and contact DesignBais support if the patch causes any unwanted side effects.

Hi Bulent,

I have tried this and while it fixed the problems that were caused by Chrome update all of my OnForm Reports are compressed into one column with arrows to scroll (see image below).  This is not specific to Chrome.  The same happens with Edge.

Has this been reported?  If so, what was the fix?
