We run DB in anonymous mode.  We get items in our "Debug" directory named "perf_username.txt" where a user named "thomassmith" would have one created as "perf_thomassmith.txt".  Inside you see the following:

0.000000,REL,2/17/2015 12:14:26 PM
0.000000,CHT,2/17/2015 12:14:38 PM
0.078125,GDT,2/17/2015 12:14:38 PM

0.000000,CHT,2/17/2015 12:15:38 PM

They take up 10K and don't change after they take up this amount of space, but they hang around in the directory.  Does anyone know what these are and how (or should we) get rid of them.  When I delete any they just get re-created.

Thanks,

Bill

these are just small performance logs giving you the time for

getchannel

the time in the database

release channel

they stop logging when they get to a certain size so as not to affect performance

its designed so you can delete them and they will collect for a short time

they have no detrimental effects
