I am having an issue with a system that has been running Windows 2008 server and Designbais 6.19 on D3 9.0 using MVSP.  What we are seeing is the system runs fine for a few hours and then the users see a message that they have been logged out.  There is no evidence that they have been logged out as all the MVSP connections are active but eventually everyone is locked out of the system.  We go to the DesignBais System Manager and “Restart all Connections” and everything comes back online for a few more hours.


Has anyone else experienced this?


The only messages I see in debug are timeouts, unable to connect and unable to consume license messages which point to the effect rather than the cause.

"User has been logged out.  Please logon with a new browser" is the message we see every 3-4 hours.  Only resetting the connections fixes it.

This situation is critical so if anyone from DesignBias is still reading this forum then please respond.

That message comes from the data component.
We need to know if cross browser or ie only mode?
What iis authentication method is being used?
Do you use their own login mechanism?
Most critically:
Number of licences for;
D3
DesignBais
MVSP

Also send us the dbridge and dbweb error files.

Hi Andrew,

This is a IE application only using Windows authentication.  We increased the D3 licenses to 5 (didn't help) and this is a 30 DB user set up.  We upgraded to v6.1 a while back but this has been a standard install and has been running for over a year.
