Hi All

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any data corruption issues with users running multiple internet explorer sessions on their PC's. We have an increasing number of of production issues being raised where it appears common variables are getting "scrambled" between user sessions. Also we have seen that &COMO& records have data from different universe accounts and different users which has me worried.

Please let me know.

Cheers
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

You should eliminate potential causes on the web server first.

(1)  Disable IIS Kernel Caching (and restart IIS):   https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731903(v=ws.10).aspx

(2)  Check if the users experiencing this problem are connecting via the same proxy server.

Thanks Bulent

We are still running on IIS6 under windows server 2003 - so is the IIS Kernel Caching still applicable ?

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

Kernel caching is not applicable, at least for our requirements,  in IIS6.

Please check if a proxy server is being used.

I'll write to you directly to discuss if we can provide a solution against proxy caching.
