About Us

Platform Justice is a public-interest initiative exposing how digital platforms shape visibility, accountability, and fairness in the gig economy.

The Project

Our first major YouTube video will tell a detailed story of platform harm, blending personal narrative with researched evidence. We need a writer who can turn raw facts into a compelling, advocacy-driven script.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Script Writer / Storyteller who can work from an evidence package to create a narrative that is engaging, accurate, and emotionally resonant.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Content & Evidence Researcher to understand the facts.

Craft a strong story arc that blends real-world impact with systemic analysis.

Write in a tone that is persuasive but legally precise. The founder can help with this part but looking for someone legally inclined or preparing for law school.

Adapt the script for AI-generated voiceover.

Preferred Skills

Experience writing scripts for advocacy, documentary, or investigative content.

Ability to write with both emotional pull and factual accuracy.

Understanding of platform/gig economy issues- AIRBNB, UBER

Legal awareness to avoid defamation risks.

Details

Type: Volunteer, project-based (possibility of paid role with funding).

Timeline: 2–4 weeks for initial script.

Location: Remote.
