The News Literacy Project (newslit.org) is a nonpartisan education nonprofit that works to ensure students in all 50 states receive news literacy instruction before they graduate from high school. We are seeking a digital marketing designer who can provide project-based graphic design support for social media content and multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will work closely with NLP’s Creative, Media and Marketing team to produce branded visual assets, reporting to the Design Director for Editorial Content.
The ideal person has a strong grasp on visual design principles and is proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. You are familiar with current trends and best practices for digital graphic formats, social media, and federal accessibility regulations (Section 508 compliance and WCAG 2.2 AA standards).
