Request for feedback: Community Guidelines and Code of Conduct

Hi everyone! 

We've been working to improve and harmonise our community guidelines and code of conduct (there were different version for Google Groups and Slack 😵‍💫), and I wanted to share our planned changes here. 

The guidelines are intended to help people understand the purpose of the community, and set up some basic ground rules for participation (be on topic and be nice!). 

I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on how we can make them more useful, appropriate or clear.
