Platform Justice is a new public-interest initiative unpacking how digital platforms design invisibility, evade accountability, and shape our digital lives. We are building a nonprofit hub that documents real stories of platform harm from Airbnb hosts to rideshare drivers to creators and transforms them into collective visibility and reform.
Where we are now
Our team has completed all website copy and drafted high-fidelity wireframes. The creative direction, color palette, and brand message are already defined.
What we need
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer web designer/developer who can commit focused time over the next two weeks to bring our site live.
You’ll help us:
Build a clean, responsive WordPress site
Translate existing wireframes and copy into a functional, visually cohesive site
Set up core pages (Home, About, Research, Submit Your Log, Contact)
Implement a simple submission form where users can share stories
You’d be a great fit if you:
Have strong WordPress and front-end skills (Elementor, HTML/CSS, or similar)
Can dedicate steady time in the next two weeks to complete the site
Care deeply about ethical design, accountability, and justice in tech
Are excited to collaborate closely with our small founding team to shape something that matters
Why volunteer?
Your design will launch a project giving visibility and voice to people affected by platform injustice — an opportunity to build something public, meaningful, and lasting from the ground up.
