Our Product Designers work throughout our nation’s humanitarian immigration process to ensure that design and users are at the center of the products we use to fairly and efficiently determine those who receive humanitarian protection. Our product designers are trailblazing, in that they will pioneer paths forward as passionate advocates and practical strategists for ensuring that human-centered practices are spread and employed throughout the refugee and asylum products. Our product designers own everything under the design umbrella from discovery research through to implementation.
About the team
We are a team of product managers, designers, and engineers. As a member of this team, you will be part of a growing case management system for Refugee and Asylum International Operations with an opportunity to shape the way the U.S. government approaches processing refugee and asylum cases. Our team works on a wide range of projects including intake, security checks, interviewing applicants, scheduling, fraud, out-processing, case tracking, and broader case management.
Other Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be located within the continental United States
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance (this process can take 3 months or more)
- Must have 3+ years of experience with research and design for shipped products
