Software Engineer (Frontend)

Our technology is making sure the workers that physically support our economy get home injury free. In spite of having the most advanced industrial workforce in the world, millions of US workers are injured every year and nearly 5,000 die on the job.

We’re looking for a talented software developer who thrives on this mission. You’ll own part of the stack that interacts with the customer – dashboard, data visualization – and all things related to internal dashboard to view metrics and diagnostics. You'll also have to work on backend APIs and make any changes should they be needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take the lead on developing customer facing dashboards, as well as our internal admin dashboards to monitor a large number of IoT devices.
• Interact with product and UI/UX teams on gathering the requirements and wireframes
• You are comfortable with building APIs to add functionality and dig into our backend when needed.
• Implement quick iterations of ideas via validating hypothesis and building MVP
• Focus on automated dashboard tests and quality control.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with frontend frameworks, such as React, Angular
• You’re fluent in HTML/CSS/Javascript, are familiar with Javascript libraries (D3), and are comfortable working with freelancers who cover UX/UI
• You’ve designed and documented REST-based APIs.
• You’re not afraid to dabble on the back end if necessary (databases, Go, API calls etc).
