Job Description
The City of New York is seeking a digital copywriter/content strategist for a website to learn about their childcare options and find childcare for their children age 5 and below in New York City. The digital copywriter/content strategist will analyze content needs and write content to help New Yorkers find childcare that fits their needs. MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years working on website projects in the role of copywriter, content strategist, or information architect
  
• Experience writing website copy
  
• Experience creating sitemaps, navigation models, content audits, and other content strategy artifacts for website projects
  
• Experience presenting content strategy and website copy to stakeholders and gathering feedback

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with government organizations, non-profits, or similar institutions
  
• Experience writing to plain language guidelines or similar style guides
  
• Experience creating and managing web pages on a content management system (CMS) 
  
• Experience with Google Analytics

Salary
$72 - $100 per hour
