🎨 Freelance Graphic Designer Needed – Membership Card for the Union of Southern Service Workers

The Union of Southern Service Workers (USSW) is looking for a talented and mission-aligned graphic designer to create a print-ready membership card (standard credit card size, 3.375" x 2.125") that reflects the strength, pride, and solidarity of our growing membership base.

We’re a grassroots union organizing low-wage workers across the South—from fast food to retail to warehouse jobs. We believe all work has dignity, and we’re building a movement rooted in justice, equity, and worker power.

Project Overview:
We need a clean, professional, and bold membership card design (front and back) that’s visually striking and easy to read, while remaining true to our branding and values. Final deliverables will include:
3 initial design concepts
Print-ready files (PDF or similar format)
Editable source files (AI or PSD)
Timeline:
June 3: Project kickoff & design brief
June 10: Initial concepts due
June 17: First round of feedback
June 24: Final design approval
June 30: Delivery of final assets
Compensation:
Flat fee of $400 for the completed project, paid upon delivery of final files.
Future Opportunities:
If this project goes well, there is additional paid graphic design work available (e.g., flyers, posters, digital graphics) for ongoing organizing campaigns.
