About Anadyr Horizon

We build decision infrastructure for the age of strategic surprise.

Our Agentic Systems Intelligence (ASI) simulates how real decision-makers behave under pressure—surfacing hidden escalation pathways before they ignite.

This isn’t another SaaS dashboard. It’s an entirely new category of software—one that translates human behavior and global complexity into predictive insight.

For a designer who thrives on clarity, structure, and depth, this is the kind of problem set you dream of:

You’ll design the interface between human intuition and machine foresight.

You’ll take ideas that live in scientific papers and bring them to life as tools that shape real-world decisions.

You’ll work directly with the founders on a product that’s redefining how organizations anticipate and manage crisis.

If you’ve ever wanted to build something genuinely new—equal parts beautiful, rigorous, and world-changing—this is that moment.

Our clients include national-security, finance, and insurance leaders who can’t afford to be surprised. We’re a Harvard-born venture operating at the frontier of simulation science and strategic foresight.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Design Unicorn—a rare polymath who can design elegant software interfaces, translate complexity into product structure, and accelerate execution across design, product, and engineering.

This position goes beyond a traditional UX role. You will be both the lead product designer as well as the product manager: mapping user experience to system logic, building the product roadmap, and transforming founder vision and client feedback into actionable product requirements.

If you can create like an artist, manage like a PM, and build like an architect, you’ll feel at home here.

What You’ll Do

  1. Strategic Architecture

  • Convert ASI and North Star platform concepts into clear, prioritized product requirements and sprint plans.
  • Write the walkthrough docs that serve as the single source of truth for design, engineering, and leadership.
  • Define the user journeys that connect simulations, dashboards, and reports into a coherent experience.

  1. Design Ownership

  • Own and refine North Star UI: workflows, interaction patterns, and data visualizations.
  • Ensure visual and cognitive simplicity across complex systems.
  • Build and maintain the design system (Storybook components, accessibility, interaction standards).

  1. Product Partnership
  • Own the near-term product roadmap and collaborate directly with the CEO/CSO on long-range vision.
  • Triage client feedback, simulation insights, and pilot outcomes to set priorities.
  • Balance speed and precision—knowing when to ship and when to refine.

  1. Execution Velocity

  • Operate as the connective layer between design, engineering, and R&D.
  • Translate behavioral science and simulation findings into usable product features.
  • Coordinate demos, capture learnings, and turn them into structured product evolution.

You Bring

  • 5–10 years in product design, product management, or UX architecture—ideally in complex data or AI systems.
  • Proven experience translating research or technical logic into usable product flows.
  • Exceptional synthesis skills: you turn abstract ideas and user signals into requirements, wireframes, and specs.
  • Ability to lead roadmap creation, prioritize ruthlessly, and document for clarity.
  • High design literacy and comfort working with Figma, Storybook, or equivalent tools.
  • Curiosity about geopolitics, cognitive modeling, or simulation systems—this helps you connect with our product DNA.
  • A bias for structure, precision, and elegance under pressure.

Anadyr Culture

We move fast and operate as a single, aligned team. Expect daily stand-ups, fast cadence, and an all-in mentality. If you’re looking for a part-time gig, a consulting project, or a 9-to-5, this isn’t the place. If you thrive on leadership and momentum—you’ll build and ship faster here than anywhere else.

You’ll shape the UI, brand, and culture of a deep-tech company built on our core values: Integrity—we do what we say, even under pressure. Amity—we win through trust and collaboration. Excellence—we build with precision and purpose. Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and full medical, dental, and vision coverage included.

You’ll be the first design leader, working closely with a small, senior engineering team and the founders to define the product foundation.

Why This Role Matters

Anadyr’s competitive edge is cognitive speed—our ability to transform chaos into predictive intelligence. This unique role builds that speed into the product itself. You’ll be the architect of how users experience our ASI-powered North Star platform. We build simulation tools that help leaders anticipate crisis and make better decisions under pressure. Your work will turn complex models into clear, actionable interfaces.

Why Join Anadyr Horizon

Work directly with founders who built Harvard’s Red Horizon simulation.

Shape the first generation of simulation-powered decision infrastructure.

Operate in a culture of intellectual honesty, urgency, and impact.

Join a fast-growing deep-tech startup as one of the foundational team members.

Build something that will prevent the next war.

Expose what others can’t see.

Design the interface between humanity and predictive intelligence.

P.S.: Your business cards will either say “Product Design Unicorn” or “Head of Design & Product Experience” - your call.
