This job is remote with travel for facilitation and in-person collaboration when necessary.

DC Design is experiencing rapid growth, and we’re looking for a Lead Strategy & Design Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time role for an exceptional strategist and design thinker ready to lead high-impact projects that reimagine how communities thrive.

Our ideal candidate is an A-player, someone who can match the intellectual speed and systems thinking of our team, lead projects end-to-end, and engage deeply with communities we serve. You’ll guide clients through Human-Centered Design processes, develop strategies to redesign systems like housing, education, healthcare, and justice, and help build a more equitable America.

We’re especially interested in candidates with:

Experience leading social impact strategy and design projects

Human-Centered Design and facilitation expertise

Experience working with Black and Latino communities

The ability to think fast, synthesize complexity, and act with empathy

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on complex social impact projects from start to finish
