Making Policy Public is a program that brings together organizers, advocates, and visual designers ,and illustrators to create a free project that breaks down a complex social justice issue, policy, or service into an easy to understand, visual explanation. For more information, visit the Making Policy Public website or read the full program guidelines.

Visual designers, apply to work with CUP if you are:

  • motivated to use your skills to support the power and vision of organizers and advocates.

  • interested in a creative process that is collaborative, interdisciplinary, and engages communities.

  • able to create non-typographic solutions such as illustration, drawing, collage, information design, or photography

  • based in the New York City metropolitan area and able to attend meetings every 2-4 weeks.
