Most apps chase attention. Are you a UX designer that could help us do something meaningful?

We’re rebuilding Alike, a peer support app for people living with and beyond cancer, to feel warmer, calmer, and more human.

At the heart of it? Connection. Because cancer can be deeply isolating. We want to change that.

We’re looking for a short-term freelance UX designer to help us reshape Alike from the inside out, with care, clarity, and community at the centre.

This isn’t about clicks. It’s about creating digital spaces that help people feel less alone.

🛠 You’ll work on:

• Rethinking how people discover each other (beyond swiping)
• Designing a dynamic, emotionally intelligent feed
• Shaping a brand-new “Community Hub”
• Wireframes, UI screens, and component libraries

• You understand nuance.
• And you care deeply about the people behind the pixels.
