The Organization:

The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest, scrappiest youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize students across the state. In 2026, we will seek to build on the work of previous cycles to run our strongest program yet and score progressive victories for students across the state. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we are in need of talented, dedicated staff ready to take on this challenge with us!

What Will You Do?

We are looking for a part-time Graphic Design Associate to own and execute design projects that shape The Wisco Project’s visual identity across campuses and online. The Graphic Design Associate should be someone who is passionate about creating compelling visuals that mobilize young voters and strengthen a unified organizational brand. The role will start in mid-January and run through mid-April, with the possibility of extension. This position can be performed remotely, with a strong preference for Wisconsin-based students or recent graduates.

The Graphic Design Associate will report to the Creative Director and will:

Create and maintain a comprehensive branding guide for staff to ensure consistency across platforms and programs.

Design social media graphics, templates, and visual assets for organizational content.

Produce designs for merch (stickers, shirts, buttons,etc.) and printed materials aligned with brand identity and youth-focused messaging.

Design larger-scale campus advertisements, including posters, flyers, signage, and on-campus installations.

Ensure accessibility, clarity, and brand cohesion across all visual materials.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to quick-turn design needs.

All other duties as assigned

Who Are You?

A successful candidate for this role will have:

Graphic design experience demonstrated through a portfolio (professional, academic, or volunteer accepted).

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or comparable design tools.

Proficient in creating clean, compelling graphics for digital/social media, with a preference for print design experience.

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate goals into visual concepts.

A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with organizers and digital team members.

Passion for youth organizing, progressive politics, and visual storytelling that inspires action.

Job Details: Compensation for this role is $2,500/month. This is a part-time, non-exempt role. The associate will work 15-30 hours/week.
