FT, Washington DC DCPL Looking for a Digital User Experience (UX/UI) apply by April 29

For the past decade, the DC Public Library has been undergoing an aggressive transformation to modernize its facilities and set the strategic direction for 21st century public library services in the District of Columbia. DCPL’s physical campus includes 25 neighborhood libraries and the newly modernized Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial (Central) Library. 

The Customer Experience Department at DCPL is looking  is looking to expand its digital experience capabilities by adding a designer who wants to have their hands in various aspects of digital experience work. This is a unique position for a mid-to-senior level designer wanting to work in the public sector and have great influence in all aspects of digital experience while gaining experience in experience strategy and service design.
