🪪 Digital Organizer (Project 26 Pennsylvania)

📍 United States, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)

🕣 Full Time

💵 25 per hour

Project 26 is the home for Pennsylvania youth who are ready to challenge the far-right's attack on our futures and build a Pennsylvania where Gen-Z can lead and thrive.

The outcome of Pennsylvania’s 2026 elections will determine the balance of power in the House which will influence the make-up of Congress, as some of the most competitive congressional races will happen in our backyard. Which will allow us to create a congress that can hold the President accountable to representing the people, not billionaires.

In 2026, young Pennsylvanians will have the opportunity to elect a Governor, who will be instrumental in standing up to a government that has constantly overlooked the youth. At an estimated 793,555 registered voters across the state, Gen-Z has the power to determine the outcomes of these elections–but only if we get organized now.

Since 2023, P26 has built a team of strong youth advocates for Gen-Z, and has worked to create a community for us in politics, through peer-to-peer outreach, —and we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of PA youth to vote in both the Primary and General Elections in 2026.

What Will You Do?

Our Digital Organizer will direct our in-house influencers cohort and work alongside our Campus Organizing team to:

  • Hire a team of Digital Fellows
  • Build regional social media strategies and amplify key content to engage youth voters around PA’s 2026 elections.
  • Review content created by digital fellows and content plans for accuracy and compliance
  • Manage social media accounts for project 26 on Instagram, Youtube, TikTok and Discord
  • Develop platform-specific civic education content plan for 2026

This is an excellent opportunity to get an inside look at how campaigns work and gain pivotal experience in crafting content that emphasizes key messages, while providing critical resources for young voters.

Our Digital Organizers will start in Feb and run through November 13, 2026. Organizers will focus on managing fellow teams to mobilizing and engaging voters in their regions, and talking to youth about the importance of the upcoming elections. Content will be shared on our statewide Project 26 accounts including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, students’ personal and/or influencer accounts, and region-specific social accounts.

  • Ensure brand consistency across platforms
  • Stay current with pop culture and politics-related trends on social media and be able to adapt them to our P26 brand
  • Demonstrate an ability to condense information into under a minute in a way that is interesting to those with limited knowledge and/or interest of politics
  • Have a passion for using political engagement to build a future when Gen-Z can thrive and be ready to jump in and inspire young people to get involved
  • Be excited to think outside the box and to ideate and innovate to find the most exciting and effective content to mobilize youth voters in your region
  • Be eager to talk to as many students as possible (and be comfortable talking to a lot of strangers/potential volunteers) in person and online
