The Role:

As a Brand Systems Designer, you are the digital architect of our partners' visual identities. This is not a traditional graphic design or print-focused art direction role. You will build deep, scalable, and data-backed digital brand ecosystems that dictate how a brand looks, moves, and feels across interactive environments. Working in close partnership with our Growth Designer, you will own the emotional and visual architecture of the brand, while they own the behavioral data and user journey. Together, you will use qualitative research and quantitative data to push growth further across the entire AARRR funnel.

What You'll Do:

Deep Brand Expansion: Take foundational brand elements and expand them into comprehensive digital design systems, defining the brand's visual language, typography scales, interactive states, and motion principles.

Lead Qualitative Research: Conduct user interviews, brand sentiment surveys, and audience research to ensure visual and emotional decisions are rooted in actual user perception, not just intuition.

Data-Driven Design Decisions: Interpret quantitative data (heatmaps, conversion rates, A/B test results) provided by the Growth Designer to optimize visual hierarchy, color usage, and layout structures for maximum funnel performance.

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with the Growth Designer, translating the mechanics of their data architecture and user journey maps into a cohesive, high-performing visual language.

Build Scalable Systems: Architect and maintain rigorous, tokenized component libraries in Figma that empower the growth team to rapidly build, test, and iterate on digital touchpoints without breaking the brand experience.

Define Digital Behaviors: Translate the emotional core and mission of our nonprofit partners into digital micro-interactions, pacing, and motion design that build trust and reduce friction.

Embrace AI Workflows: Actively utilize and experiment with the latest AI tools to optimize your research, ideation, and production processes.

Iterate for Growth: Continuously refine the brand system based on live performance metrics, treating the brand not as a static rulebook, but as a living framework optimized for continuous growth.
