In my researching how to allow Users to securely upload pictures to my website, it has been said by a few that you should convert the Original Images to an intermediary format (e.g. BMP) and then convert the stripped version back to a Standard Format (e.g. JPEG).

Our world has changed. There have been stories of people getting sick from their mask. Washing it is important but sanitizing is too. Ozone is has been a sanitizer used for years for cleaning up after flood damage, fire and more. In recent years, it has been used by hunters to get rid of the human scent to assist with hunting. I am going to give you my understanding of ozone and some links. I recommend doing your own research on ozone and whether this is something you want to do based on your research. Pure ozone is an irritant and not a toxin. However, it is not recommended to breath it directly. Keep in mind it that it is does have a different smell to it. So air your mask out after using this.

The article is supposed to be about burial, but tell me that it isn't really about those stunningly, stunningly beautiful women. That was just three days ago. It looks like the cover of Vogue. That's a curatorial choice. You may not agree with my reading of these images, as some of my students don't, but can we please talk about the fact that on the front page of the New York Times for an article ostensibly about burial, they've chosen this picture, this gallery of incredibly beautiful women. Can we talk about the relationship between atrocity and beauty? That's the book to me. I would see pictures like this two to three times a week. So I kept on asking myself, Is there a book here? Do I have the nerve to publish a book like this? And then, out of boredom and out of the notion that a writer's job is to cause trouble for himself and the culture, I started the book. I really do ascribe to this quote of Flaubert's that "the importance of work can be measured by the harm spoken of it," or Kafka's, "A book must be an axe for the frozen sea inside us." Those are beautiful statements to me. I loved the idea of doing a book that put me in harm's way and it puts the Times in harm's way and it puts the reader in harm's way. And so, for a few years, I worked with some research assistants and we gathered these pictures and we found a thousand, color, combat pictures. Seven hundred of them fit our criteria, and virtually none of them hugely contradicted my thesis. I started putting them into categories. I have such strong memories of meeting my research assistants and looking at these piles of photographs and seeing that we'd have 50 that proved the beauty thesis, 50 pictures of "War as Fashion Shoot," 50 that were "War as Movie Outtake," 50 that were "War as Pietà." I could see that this wasn't just my hallucination, the evidence was there. Then it was an endless job of curating these images and very carefully choosing quotes and placing them in a particular pattern so that each chapter has its own mini-movement.

So, it was getting the physical paper, getting thrilled and repulsed by the pictures, then having the stupidity to do a book that gathered them. Then I felt that I could no longer subscribe to the Times, either physically or digitally, because I do feel the paper is acting in something close to bad faith in using these pictures. We'd, maybe, expect to see these images in USA Today or the Wall Street Journal, which are overt in propagandizing the war, but these pictures are in the New York Times, the so-called "paper of record." Which to me is sending problematic messages in their marriage of beauty and violence.

The book is meant to say, "Can we please worry more about these pictures?" Look again at that picture from November 12, 2015. Can we not agree that it's an editorial choice that is marrying the beautiful and the traumatic in ways that are doing cultural work? These images are disseminating ideology in complicated ways that I can't totally tease out. But it is there and it's not talked about enough. Why this picture? Presumably, you have many pictures to choose from of this burial site and you run this picture? It's amazing to me. It's absurd.

"The point-blank execution of the Vietnamese man and the naked girl running from napalm? Those pictures, to me, have a raw and naked reality. The pictures now always seem to err on the side of sorrowful, dignified, noble."

In the Times during Vietnam you've got Eddie Adams and Nick Ut publishing Pulitzer-Prize winning, culture-changing photographs. The point-blank execution of the Vietnamese man and the naked girl running from napalm? Those pictures, to me, have a raw and naked reality. They're incredibly beautiful and artful photographs, but those pictures find a useful and productive middle ground that I would argue for. I don't see those pictures in the Times anymore. The pictures now always seem to err on the side of sorrowful, dignified, noble.

Although the terms cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting are often used interchangeably, they have significantly different meanings. Mixing up these terms can result in poor cleaning practices and the potential spread of illness. Having a better understanding of these terms can determine if you are using chemicals in the proper way and preventing pathogens from spreading on your surfaces.

Cleaning: Removing dirt and debris from a surface. The process involves warm, soapy water to physically remove these impurities. Cleaning needs to be done before sanitizing or disinfecting.

Many different types of chemical agents can be used for sanitizing and disinfecting. The EPA requires all chemicals to have a number that identifies information such as product information and the company that produced it. The EPA will define the safety and use for these chemicals (for example, the pathogens the chemical will kill) and will tell how to use the product. All chemical cleaning products are provided an EPA number, but this may not be helpful unless you know how to find out the product details. To find detailed product information, an easy-to-navigate website to use is SmartLabel.org. For specific product information, go to This site provides useful information such as the safety, usage, and ingredients. You can also download a Safety Data Sheet.

See Table 1 for guidelines to prepare your own sanitizing solution. Note, there may be some sodium hypochlorite strengths that are not listed in Table 1. In this case, use the online Chlorine Dilution Calculator to find the correct recipe: -calculator.html. Table 2 provides recipes for disinfecting, which is a stronger solution and may require a clean water rinse if using on a food contact surface.

The dispensers are free standing, battery operated and touch free. They are placed in high volume areas such as check-in lobbies, baggage claims, food courts, security checkpoints, international arrival and tour group sections, and gate areas. The total cost of the hand sanitizing dispensers, equipment and liquid is $260,000.

ACID is the best solution and method to clean the sections such as star wheels and areas of egg protein or egg shell. An alcohol based sanitizing wipe or product is another approved method for no water zones in egg processing.

A sanitizing script looking for exact tag and attribute matches is going to throw out and xmlns:foobar as invalid, but they aren't. The first-pass solution doesn't require too big an intellectual leap. One can simply check to see if the whole thing matches the whitelist, and if not, check to see if the the non-namespace side of the colon matches.

In the end, I decided external links are mostly pointless. I built a small whitelist of the most common (and often necessary) third-party hosts, places like W3.org and CreativeCommons.org, and decided to leave it at that. The functions I built implementing all of these sanitizing passes are extensible, so individual projects can tweak as needed.

At present, this work has taken SVG sanitizing farther than it's ever been, but I'm not convinced it is completely sewn up. If I had to guess, I'd say we're at about the 95% mark. The main features include:

Ecolution Disinfectant is a cleaner, disinfectant, fungicide, deodorizer, sanitizer, virucide, and mildewstat. It will clean and disinfect hard, nonporous surfaces such as floors, toilets and urinals, glass and mirrors, metal and stainless steel, porcelain, showers, cabinets, and more. Its quaternary formula makes it an effective cleaner and will not harm or dull high gloss floor finishes or painted surfaces. In addition to disinfection, when used as directed, Ecolution Disinfectant can also be used for the following: Food-contact and non-food contact surface sanitizing, control the growth of mold and mildew on athletic equipment and mats, deodorize garbage cans and garbage equipment, disinfect toilet bowls, deodorize carpets

The lightbulbs we use in our products have a lifespan of 4,000 hours - which is 240,000 minutes! That means you can use your PhoneSoap 3 about 24,000 times before the bulbs burn out. If the bulbs happen to burn out or crack before then, we'll replace them at no cost to you so you can keep on sanitizing.

With the PhoneSoap 3, there is a USB port in the back of the unit to plug in your charging cord. You can charge and sanitize simultaneously, and when the sanitizing cycle is complete, your phone will continue to charge.

We use test strips similar to these to confirm the strength of the solution. In the sanitizing part of the sink we aim for 100 ppm and when sanitizing work surfaces we use a small pail with 200 ppm solution. The test strips are available at most restaurant supply places, are cheap and as long as you keep them dry they last a long time. With baked goods the danger of contamination will be greatest after it is baked.
