Funny.......I thought we were supposed to be getting our answers
finally. Wasn't Pam Vandervort supposed to be there with answer's
regarding the 2005 mailed out vote that appears now to be erroneous
and discrepancies in all our budgets, namely parks with the majority
going to fire? We can't use park and community center money to pay for
our library, but can pay the counties light bill for something we
voted to pay for ?????......just makes me wonder how long do they get
to ignore the citizen's? Since when did it cease to become our
business??????? I thought that at our last meeting we were told that
is what we were absolutely going to have the answers for at the next
meeting. I am personally still waiting on the tax base audit that I
had asked for. We can't hire our own road grader by a contract with
anyone other than the county because our tax base is too low......that
was the answer given to me.........These are not acceptable. If they
KNOW then why not share? If they don't KNOW then we need to wonder
why we are paying them to know.
Anywho, good info should come of it. Since the base is going to be
there, I am sure they don't want to air any dirty laundry, but I
believe we will still very much need a decent showing at least. So
please spread the word........We only have 2 days, as usual.
