Not "nutrition" related but for anyone interested, there is an informal group of horse folks which meets once a month started by Marie Griffith some time ago.  

The group used to meet in a restaurant in Benson but has changed to a monthly pot luck at various ranches. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other horse-minded folks in Southern Arizona and to see what the area has to offer - from new trails to clinics and more.

This month's meet will be at J-Six Equestrian Center on Wednesday, November 6 at 6pm.  Contact Marie at marie.g...@earthlink.net if you'd like to go or if you'd like to be placed on her mailing list.

This month, our Pot-Luck is this Wednesday, November 6,  at J-Six Equestrian Center in Mescal Area, 8 miles west of Benson, off I-10 Hwy exit, #297, at6:00pm.

We always have a great time at J-Six.  So, If you want to bring your Horse early and Ride in the many arenas or their trail course, you can come at 5PM.  Bring any equine friends, your favorite dish and drinks.  Also, any announcements. Christmas Pot-Luck at Heidi’s Lucky Pup to be discussed.
