I'm looking into getting MidValley pellets
http://midvalleymillinghaypellets.com/low-nsc-pelleted-hay-and-balanced-mineral-program-carb-sensitive-horses-cushings-insulin-resistant-h
delivered either to my home or a local feed store.
The minimum order is a pallet (40-50# bags)
Is anyone interested?

Hi Claire ~

Are you thinking of doing this instead of hay and balancing? Because
of not being able to get low sugar/starch hay?
Have you compared cost?

No, not at all.I mix a handful of pellets with their beet pulp. A bag
lasts me over a month.
But our present stack of hay is very unpalatable and Doc has dropped
weight so I'm feeding him a little more BP & pellets right now.
Testing each bag of Mt Sunrise ends up more expensive for me and to
buy 4-5 bags of same batch and have them come back too high in s/s is
too risky for me. The store won't take them back & I can't feed them.
I got 5 bags of MV pellets from So. Cal several months through Lori
(Skode's Treats) and paid about $18.00 a bag.....
Five or six of us went in on a pallet. They were delivered to a feed
store in Temecula & my son who lives there picked them & shipped them
to me (he works for FedEx so costs him next to nothing to ship to
me...).
I just wanted to know if there was an interest locally to go in on a
pallet...otherwise I can go through Lori again.....
