Monique ~

Have you attended any of Phil Morarre's clinics
http://www.softouchnaturalhorsecare.com/clinics.html?

I was thinking about hosting one in the fall but haven't spoken with
anyone who's actually been at a clinic. I have a bunch of people here
would be interested.

And Claire, if I host one down here, you might want to consider doing
one in your area at the same time so we could split his travel
expenses.
You really need this with your donkeys : )

I had his DVD and sent it off to a friend when I was done. While the
concept is good, I just can't manage the size of the angle grinders
and don't like the electric cords. And IMO, I think he takes too much
off the sole.

I mix my trimming with a rasp and a cordless dremel tool. It is much
easier and safer for me to handle.

Donna what attachment do you use for the dremel tool?  I think the dremel may be less intimidating than a grinder.  I tried using a grinder on and found it too hard to handle between the size of the tool and the cord.  Until I can get something like Patti's little Makita, I think a dremel would be better.  My mare wasn't to keen on the idea of the vibration.

Thanks,
Sheila
