Hey everyone,
3 day weekends are few and far between, so I'm going to take my
Monday, "5th of July" work holiday and ride up to Lake Arrowhead to
scope out the route for the "Bikers & Leather & Bears". The "BLB" ride
is quickly approaching for Big Bear Adventure Weekend II - at Big Bear
Lake - August 26 - 30, 2010.
If you'd like to join me in this day ride, let me know. I'll be
leaving early to avoid the desert heat.
Meet at Koffi (the original one on the North end of downtown) in Palm
Springs at 6:45am for a 7:00am departure.
If you'd like to go, be gassed up and geared up and ready to ride.
Remember, it is a lot cooler outside the heat of the Coachella Valley
and more so up in the Mountains! Dress in layers that could easily be
removed to keep yourself cool for the trip back down into the desert
heat later that afternoon. You may also wish to bring some bottled
water.
Not planning on doing a race to make it to the top, so it will be a
relaxed ride at a easy pace.

Also, if you have ideas or just want to do a quick ride anywhere as a
group, post your messages here. Group rides are always fun, even if
the group is just 2 or 3...

We made it back to PS with no problems and now are home in Vegas.
Thank you and Moose for making it a great weekend for us!
We really want a close friendship with you two... if you ever want to cum to Vegas, you have a home to stay!
