Hi Pilots!
Just one last reminder for RVHPA’s Longsword Vineyard appreciation day and party this coming Saturday Sept 30th. 12:00PM to 5:00PM. (7:00 PM if anyone is flying glass off.)
The weather is looking good with light north winds for easy flights to the LongSword LZ. Pilots landing at LongSword will get a coupon for a beverage of their choice or $ 7 off a purchase in the tasting room.
Bring a snack to share and hang out with your flying friends at the beach. We’ll also have water and soft drinks there.
We have a shuttle driver with a bit of prior arrangement that can take you up to the top launch. $10 with a minimum of 5 pilots. Capacity for 10 or so. Check his status on the RVHPA Woodrat Flying Telegram group.
Club members can arrange to get you back to your car at the Hunter LZ parking lot or you may want to drop a car at LongSword before you ride up to launch. Please note all vehicles and people must be off the property no later than 7:30 at the absolute latest or risk being locked in.
