update DAR website with Private land closure info

Hello Jen,

I just got a call from Mike W. regarding plugging holes to prevent accidental use of the closed site.  

In my opinion we need to include alias names on the banner on the DAR website with closure info.  For example the site is called "The Rock L", and "Mid Launch", and "Raquel", and the "Training Hill" in various places online.  It may help to include all these names so there is no confusion.  

Also, there is a link on the DAR website that leads to the "Rock L" site guide, and there should be a Bright Bold notice of the closure at the top of this document.

It might also help to add a reminder of the closure near the link to the COHGA chat group  so that visiting pilots who are sent to the unaffiliated chat group don't miss the closure information.  

And finally, as long as visiting pilots are being sent to the COHGA chat for help with site intros and guidance, the pinned message announcing the site closure should be reposted as I see it is no longer there.  Maybe even in each of the 4 chats as Devon was using the Flight Planning chat not the general chat.

The COHPA is updated now.

Paragliding earth and maps and other websites were either updated or notified earlier today as this is the route Devin found the site flying site.( Just want everyone to know that he has started that he knew it was closed and chose to go there anyway)

I will update the DAR website with alias' as suggested as soon as I have a chance and there is a big bold note on the site guide already but let me know if you can't see it.

Thanks Jen!

I do see the new notice on the "Flying Sites" page on the website, but if you click the link to the word doc that I attached to my previous email it takes you to a site description that you updated 6/19. 

Let me know if you find that document. Or if I'm mistaken! It's just another hole to plug 😵‍💫....
