My setup is windows 10 and 17 4770k cpu with 32GB ram.

Installation goes smooth, installs all requirements and then reboot, but when I try to run, the loading screen is stuck at the same loading screen while the bar is flashing with no message, BUT! if I minimize a window that is on desktop with the loading screen behind, I can see for a fraction of second a window that says "application is not responding" and a button below that says "restart". Please note that this window does not stay on top and there is no way to push the restart button. I have tried many times to restart and install again, but it shows me the same.

I searched the forum but I didn't find anything similar.

Please help.

No, I don't have any GPU at the moment. I have some old ATI 5970, but I don't think they are compatible. If they are please tell me so I can search/test them.

I don't mind for cpu time. I want first to test and then invest in a good modern GPU and run it on newer hardware.

had faceswap running for a couple of months with no problem. now, if it dosen't say 'restart now'. it will just load forever, and i do mean, forever! can it be fixed or should i cancel account and try somewhere else.

ps. i am a tech thicko, before you start talking jibberish!

If this doesn't fix this issue, then please can you provide me with more detail about your setup (OS, GPU etc) as well as the exact steps you take to hit your issue, and how that issue manifests itself.

it was working perfectly untill about two weeks ago. tried everything! even deleted everything to re-install. now when i try to load app, it says 'initialising' then, you guessed it, it says 'no response from the '.

FED UP WITH IT NOW.

This is all fairly meaningless to me, so either you are looking for support for software that I have no idea about and are on the wrong forum (can easily click the logo at the top of this page to find out which software we are), or you will need to articulate your issue better.

I was wondering why I have a Dlight model with 400K iterations, batchsize = 6, Output size=384, but still can't get a fair result.

Have 4000+pictures but was extracted from 1080p/720p youtube videos. Is this the source's problem...? Or it may need more time..?

Yea maybe longer.

Nothing wrong with a batch of 6, might just take longer.

In my Training Model examples post I hit 500K+ on some models and they were still getting better.

Others were just great at 100K.

I had a high res DFl-SAE Batch 8 (that's like batch 4 on the current version) for 750K before I said That is enough.

Thanks!

BTW I want to ask if it's more important to find good quality videos for face B than face A(if I don't need the model to swap the other way A->B)? Like if I want to put my face on a movie star, than my face(which is B) quality influent more than face A?

Because sometimes when we want to put our own faces on celebrities or whoever, we usually can only ensure the quality of our own faces, so in this situation, is ''face A has a normal quality and face B has a good quality" an OK thing to training?

We had a family event yesterday and took a few group pictures. One of the photos has great pictures of everyone, except for one person, who is grimacing. We have other photos where that person has a much better face, and I'd like to swap in that face into the first photo. There's a tutorial about how to do this in Photoshop, but I wanted to know if there is an Affinity Photo-specific tutorial. Thanks in advance!

Or in the case of Adjustments like Curves, Levels, Hue/Saturation etc. they might remove data (clipping). Naturally the same Adjustents as Adjustment Layers have the same effect, but one can change them later on and the data is still present for those changes.

All I could achieve was purplish tone, and while the skin on this image does appear to have purple tones it also has some red-tans that I could not replicate with hue, contrast, brightness, curves etc..

The closest thing I could do to get the closer match was apply a red filter but because I had already changed some of the photo the filter only showed on parts of his face = looking silly and unrealistic.

When you mention copyright issues, does this mean that if a client asks for something like this, to have their images superimposed onto posters or onto famous people or similar, that there can be a copyright breach involved?

Quite possibly your work will never reach the attention of anyone at the involved companies but I am no lawyer, so I am not sure if this falls under fair use. And some companies may have more litigatious legal departments than others.

I've got an almost perfect family photo that I need to swap one face in as my son was not looking at the camera and I can't redo the shoot. Anyone know how to take a headshot from one pic and swap it into another using Aperture or Photoshop? Thanks!

When doing this, I find it quite helpful to create an intermediate image with a transparent background that contains only the head to be pasted into the second image. First I paste the head onto this transparent background, scale it, rotate it or skew it to make it fit into the other image, adjust the lighting, then select it.

To do this completely in Aperture, you would have first to combine both images into one (for example by creating a book page), then use the retouche->clone tool to stamp the head from one image to the other. I use this occasionally to stamp a face into a flower bud or for similar effects. However, for this to work you need a plain background and nearly circular shapes to be pasted.

You would have to export both photos to Photoshop, open the one with the "head" you like, select the head with one of Photoshop's selection tools (depends on which one you feel the most comfortable using and what the "head" looks like, eg: lots of hair sticking out) and then either copy and paste the selection to the other shot or drag the head selection from one shot to the other. Problems will be getting the lighting to match (if your son is not lighted the same way) and especially if his head is turned differently from one shot to the other. If it is only his eyes - you said he is not "looking" at the camera - you might be able to just copy and paste the eyes from one shot to the other. (I do this with my wife as she has a tendency to blink one eye.)

In this paper, we propose an algorithm for fully automatic neural face swapping in images and videos. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first method capable of rendering photo-realistic and temporally coherent results at megapixel resolution. To this end, we introduce a progressively trained multi-way comb network and a light- and contrast-preserving blending method. We also show that while progressive training enables generation of high-resolution images, extending the architecture and training data beyond two people allows us to achieve higher fidelity in generated expressions. When compositing the generated expression onto the target face, we show how to adapt the blending strategy to preserve contrast and low-frequency lighting. Finally, we incorporate a refinement strategy into the face landmark stabilization algorithm to achieve temporal stability, which is crucial for working with high-resolution videos. We conduct an extensive ablation study to show the influence of our design choices on the quality of the swap and compare our work with popular state-of-the-art methods.

In addition to being an open source 2D&3D deep face analysis library, InsightFace also offers a range of commercial products. These include solutions for high quality face swapping and SDK development for custom applications. We are committed to providing advanced tools that drive innovation and creativity across various industries.

iProov's analysts are tracking over 100 face swap apps and repositories, meaning that there is a wide selection of low-cost, easily accessible generative AI tools that can create highly convincing deepfakes to trick humans and some remote identity verification solutions that do a "liveness" test.

A "liveness" test will typically ask an individual to look into a webcam, perhaps turning their head from side to side, in order to prove that they are both a real person and to compare their appearance to identity documents.

The face-swapping software can create a highly convincing synthetic video, which is fed to a virtual camera that mimics a genuine webcam. This tricks a remote identity verification system into believing the subject's "liveness" and trusting their identity.
