Have you ever heard of a smart classroom, or maybe even taught in one? Smart classes and smart technology are buzzwords that have been flying around schools for years, but what actually is a smart classroom?
Everyone learns differently. Every child takes on information in different ways and has different needs. Thanks to the technology provided in modern classrooms, educators can easily adapt their teaching styles to meet these individual needs!
Smart classes are equipped with a range of interactive edtech tools that allow students to learn, collaborate and innovate in incredible ways, all while supporting the needs of every learner. For example, some students may find immersive learning with augmented and virtual reality the most engaging, whereas others may be better suited to physically learning with interactive whiteboards. In a smart classroom, every learning need is catered for!
Spartan Smart is an alcohol and marijuana education course designed to meet the needs of students who have received a sanction through Michigan State University's Dean of Students Office, a minor in possession (MIP) charge, a civil infraction in lieu of an MIP charge, or who have been recommended to complete an alcohol/ drug education class. Spartan Smart is focused on creating a compassionate and non-judgmental environment in which students can explore their beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors as they relate to alcohol and marijuana use. Our goal is to motivate students to make healthier choices about drinking or marijuana use, and for those who choose to continue use, to impart skills that will allow them to do so with reduced risks.
It is important that students contact the Health Promotion Department at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule their participation in a session. Students who miss a session without prior notification will have to re-enroll and pay the course fee again in order to complete the course. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes after the class has started, will not be able to attend the class and will be asked to register and attend another session.

At the end of the second session, students will receive documentation that they have completed Spartan Smart. If the sanctioning entity is affiliated with Michigan State University, an electronic notification will be e-mailed jointly to the sanctioning entity and the student, verifying completion of the class. If the sanctioning entity is outside of Michigan State University, students will need to provide the contact information of the sanctioning entity, including an email address, and an electronic verification will be sent to that entity and the student, verifying completion of the class. Information in this communication is limited to a brief description of the class, the student's name, date of birth, and date of completion. It is the responsibility of the student to request any additional documentation from MSU's Health Promotion Department for verification purposes. Health Promotion will not disclose any student information to entities, on- or off-campus, without a signed Release of Information form completed by the student.

In the past i always write very simple puppet manifests and just apply
them. Now i want to use the "Smart class parameters" from Foreman for
example, setting the version of a software who will be installed. I play a
little bit with smart class parameters by some puppet forge modules, look a
bit at the code, but i still dont know how to write puppet classes who can
be used as Foreman Smart class parameters.
This is a class that has one parameter, foo, and writes that parameter
to a file. If you put this in your modulepath, and Import classes into
Foreman, you'll be able to see the "test" class in the UI.
Once you can, edit the class, go to the "foo" parameter, and try setting
a default value, and assign the class to a host. It should pass the
value to Puppet (you can check on the hosts YAML page). After that, you
can try overriding the default at the Host level.
Materials and methods: The model of practice-based learning was constructed upon an e-learning smart class environment, with case-based learning and simulators for competency development. One of the exclusive outcomes of this program that it turns passive content into an active one through visually interactive videos, activity-based games, targeted and conceptual assessments. @anet Any time we can attend education on kidney disease and treatment options, we have the chance to increase our knowledge base. Several years ago I took a class, and doing it in person we could ask questions. It was all new to me, and so confusing. But invaluable. You might read/see/hear things you had not considered. Being able to speak with someone who has been trained to answer concerns, and connecting with others, is worth the time spent. Also, check to see that you can also attend the classes. As spouse/caregiver/health partner, you will feel more comfortable understanding all that is involved. Yes, there is online training available, but I really like in-person, myself.
