Hi Everyone

I found an interactive map of New York

I discovered by watching County lines changing. I learned that Chenango and Otsego Counties where Diane’s Lewis’s were. Is above Delaware County were my Asa Lewis’s were.

Watching an interactive map I found that these 3 County lines changed several times back and forth over the years. I also watched on the interactive map that part of Delaware New York was was part of Pennsylvania.

My guess no one moved the line kept changing over time. So now to figure out where they lived.

Does anyone have any Lewis’s that lived in Pennsylvania in the late 1600 or early 1700s or in any counties named above.

Thank you for reading my post.

If anyone does I would like to know where in Pennsylvania their Lewis line were.

Joy

Hi Joy,
Sorry to be so late in this answer.  DAR has captivated my tree climbing time!  You are probably qualified to be a DAR.  Are you interested?  I LOVE it!  Just joined a couple of years ago.  Would be happy to share about it with you!
Re: PA  My Lewises stayed in MA that first 100 yrs; and actually some way longer than 100yrs.  Last Oct. I went to MA and met a "new" cousin Daniel Cushman Lewis who is in our Y group also.  His branch never left the area.  He now lives in Keene NH.
Best Regards,
Jackie
