Orchard Friends!
What an amazing spring! The weather is beautiful, the frost is seemingly gone (fingers crossed), and gardens everywhere are beginning to come to life! The Orchard will be quickly coming to life as well as we are in the final month before PLANTING DAY!!!
We will have our monthly meeting on Monday April 20th at 6pm. We will meet at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store (1426 6th Ave 50314), on the second floor.
We will be planting trees in May and we have a lot of preparation to complete before then. The sub-committee teams have been meeting and working diligently to get us ready for spring planting as well. If you want to be a part of organizing and volunteering for the Community Orchard Planting Day Event, you don't want to miss this meeting!
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this project, from those quietly observing from a distance to all those actively involved in the committees! We couldn't do it without you!
