Good morning!

The "It's Almost Spring" meeting is coming right up... Next weekend, in fact! A detailed schedule is below- please indulge yourself in reading the different breakout sessions you could attend and some of the people you might connect with. Please forward this along to others that might benefit.

The event will be held at Youth Emergency Shelter and Services. The parking instructions are as follows: Parking is available on SE 11th St, as well as along Railroad Ave. and in the agency’s parking lot (north side of the building). The building is a secure facility, so we ask that all guests refrain from leaving and re-entering the building if possible. Please enter through the Green Hope Hall doors on SE 11th Street. Entrance is handicap accessible. (If you arrive at a different door, you will be instructed to walk around to the correct entrance.)

A few things to remember:

  • There will be a potluck lunch towards the end of our session! Please bring something to share, and bring your own reusable dinnerware. (We won't have paper plates, and we'll be composting food waste). Also, please label your food in case we have any allergies (ie. dairy, eggs, gluten, nuts, seeds, etc.)
  • You might meet people you'd like to connect with. Bring a few business cards to trade!
  • Feel free to bring any organizational material or helpful resources to share. We'll have an area to post ideas, resources, and connections- whether that is jotting down where you get mulch and your favorite gardening handbook, or a stack of flyers about your organization, we welcome this sharing.

Looking forward to seeing many of you next Saturday!
