We are excited to invite you to School Garden 101, a series of workshops to help schools develop viable gardens on their school grounds. We will build gardening skills, connect gardening principles to school activities, get Iowa standards-based curriculum materials, and work to create sustainable garden programs.- Trainings will be held Tuesday evenings February 9 - March 8, 2016, 5-8pm.
- There will be two locations --
- Ankeny Schools, 306 SW School Street, Ankeny
- Des Moines Public Schools Central Campus, 1800 Grand Avenue, Des Moines
- The cost is $60 per team, payable by credit card (this will require a phone call) or by check or cash at the first class.
- Schools/organizations must attend as teams of at least two people to qualify for the incentive to be paid at the end of the program.
