Andy,
I had mentioned an easy way to deploy a rails app on Apache without
the need to configure a mongrel cluster. It's called Passenger and
you can find it here (http://www.modrails.com/). They have a nice
little video showing how you use it. For those that want it, they
even offer an "Enterprise" license (http://www.modrails.com/
enterprise.html) ;-)
