A trench drain (also can be called channel drain, line drain, slot drain, linear drain or strip drain) is a specific type of drain containing a dominant trough or channel-shaped body. It is used for the rapid evacuation of surface water or for the containment of utility lines or chemical spills.

Orca offer an extensive range of polymer concrete trench drain products along with a wild range of grating finishes including stainless and galvanised heelsafe grating, heavy duty ductile grating to suit all your applications. The Max carrier is offered on either of our hitch frames - our popular swingaway frame or our standard fixed frame. The fixed frame is ideal for a vehicle without a rear door and without the need to access the rear of your vehicle. The swingaway frame swings out to enable you to open your rear doors, liftgate or tailgate for easy access to the gear in your vehicle. The StowAway Max is designed for active use and travel. It is not recommended for use off roading or on washboard dirt roads. If it is used on salted roads we recommend rinsing and oiling the frame after each use to prevent rusting and corrosion.

For vehicles with exhaust pipes pointing straight back, we do recommend either an exhaust tip to divert your exhaust down or to the side, or the purchase of our lightweight exhaust shields. Diverting the exhaust will help prevent damage to the carrier and your gear.

We offer free shipping on all orders within the Continental United States. Items purchased through the StowAway website are typically processed and ready for shipment within 1-2 business days. During the summer months (or right before a holiday) this could change to 3-4 processing days. Please call to confirm current lead times before placing your order.

For orders within the lower 48 states, we ship with either FedEx or USPS ground. Please call for available express options and applicable shipping charges. There is no sales tax in Oregon, so we do not charge sales tax on U.S. orders, regardless of your destination.

StowAway orders ship to Alaska via Span Alaska and generally take 7 to 10 business days. Shipping costs to Alaska generally range from $100 to $200, depending on the product. Orders ship to the closest port via barge. We generally ship smaller items to Alaska by U.S. Mail.
