I have a problem. When ever I use the fonts, its shows in the new applications. but if I copy Malayalam from word file to illustrator CC, it shows boxes. is there any alternative to this as I get all my content written from a 3rd party, and I cant seem to solve this.
Your problem may be mostly because of the compatibility problems between new MS Word data and Illustrator CC. You just try to paste it in the illustrator as plain text by selecting Paste Special and change the fonts later. Or you can copy the text to any other editor like Typeit, Notepad or else to convert it to standard ANSI text and again copy, paste it from the editor to Illustrator.

I shall be highly grateful, if you advise a good malayalam typing software better than varamozhi or google ime transliteration etc. I want to type several pages and experience only in mangalish typing. Not aware of page maker etc. Waiting for your advise. Regards Joseph
Thanks for providing such a large collection of fonts. Is it possible to create a page/pdf with sample text in each of these fonts identifying the font name so that one can select fonts of interest and download those?
It ismy mother tongue .I give much importance to it.can any body forget his mother and her affection showered towards her son. She carried him/her for ten months in her womb and got delivered with severe pain. Can any body make a substitution for this?. Our mother tongue is just like that.
If my FontStyle is set to Bold AND Italic, then I set fontStyle &= FontStyle.Italic;

You can add the attribute isPDFEmbedded="true" to your font declaration. This should then embed the font into the PDF file (as long as the font you've referenced is available when the report is exported).

As @daklander said, the best place to store the fonts so that LibreOffice would find is /usr/share/fonts. However, even if you store your fonts there, it might happen that some fonts are not found. For example, fonts of postscript type1; I cannot see this fonts in my LibreOffice.
